Sure, it starts out innocently enough...
Then mother gets a evil look in her eye...
Oscar look dubious...
Then it's time for more of this...
I think he's starting to enjoy the pool...

Eating part 1
Passed out taking his bottle.
Haven't quite figured out the swallowing part yet.
Making silly faces.
He took the spoon away from me, put it in his mouth, took it back out, got the cereal off of it onto his hand, then put his hand in his mouth. Alas, no swallowing still.
Then he got after the bowl. No way was I giving that up.

First Swim Lesson
We were all pretty excited for Oscar's first swim lesson. He arrived, entourage in tow, and made his debut in his new swim diaper. This place is really cool. They only do swim classes, they keep the water at 91 degrees, and it's a salt water pool rather than chlorine. When you get in, the water temperature is about the same as the air. There was only one other baby in the class.
Before class:Just getting used to the water:
Floating on his back. Actually, he floats really well. Maybe the rolls help.
He kept grabbing his feet, but that's his new thing. I had no idea that babies actually did Happy Baby Pose, but apparently they do!
Playing Humpty Dumpty
Gathering balls up from the pool. Wow. He looks like a healthy eater!
Just coming up from the water. He's not too sure about this part yet. He only cried once, but he sputtered and spewed every time we did it. That's Oscar's swim teacher.
That starfish was quite interesting
This hold is supposed to be good for helping them float on their backs. I don't think he needs too much help.
Me trying to remember to keep his face above the water. Oops!
At this point, we realized that we had no formula with us, and it was time for him to eat, so Paul had to leave swim class IMMEDIATELY to go fetch formula. It was a good thing too, because as soon as we hit the car, it was time. No after pictures this time, but we'll try for something next time.
