Going to the Market

We went to the farmer's market for the first time today since the Saturday since before Oscar was born. Our favorites breakfast cart, www.pinestatebiscuits.com, is opening a new restaurant and won't be at the market anymore. Bummer.

We bundled him up so much, I think he got hot. This is before we left the house.In the stroller at the market. I stuffed another hat inside of his hood because i was worried about his ears getting cold. It ended up just annoying him.
I got this seat for him to start sitting up in. I knnow it's early, but he seemed to be working it pretty well. If he fell over, I had to help him up, but he sat up for a good long while.

Also, we're wearing our Halloween outfit. This isn't the costume he's going to wear, but this is pretty cute for this time of year.

Kinda cute - he gets excited in his bouncy seat now when the little creatures on his mobile go by.

My first shot at editing video

This is from August 24, 2007. It's my first shot at editing a video. The background was just me speaking to a friend of ours, about nothing, so it was more fun to put music with it. Hopefully, I'll get a little more skilled over time.

A Few New Pictures

We're trying to make it easier for me to upload pictures so that I update the site more frequently. Hopefully, we're almost there, and there will be more regular posts.


This is one of our sweater outfits. It's still a bit big, but he's 2 months, and this is a 3-6 month outfit.Paul thinks he looks like a Dr. Seuss character in this :)
I can't believe how big he has gotten. You can kind of see my red/orange hair, but not really. It just looks faded here.

Bathtime last night

I made the mistake last night of waking up a perfectly sleeping baby and giving him a bath. We enjoyed the bath, but afterwards, he had a meltdown that I would rather have avoided. That'll teach me to wake up a sleeping baby!

We discovered during the bath last night that even though we LOVE taking a bath, we love getting our ears cleaned even more.

There are a bunch of new posts without much commentary. We just anted to get some pictures posted.

We did NOT enjoy the wrist and ankle rattles. We'll have to try this again in a few weeks. Paul calls this whole look "Mad as a Hornet".
